Basic Operations
Power
Turns the power ON by pressing the
[SRC] button.
Press the [SRC] button for at least 1
second to turn the power OFF.
Source selection
Press the [SRC] button.
Tuner (“TUNER”) ➜ USB (“USB”) or iPod
(“iPod”) (DPX504U/ DPX404U only) ➜
CD (“CD”) ➜ Auxiliary Input (“AUX”) ➜
Standby (“STDBY”/ “STANDBY”) ➜ Tuner...

Press the [iPod] button to switch the
source to iPod.
The source “USB”/ “iPod” and “CD” can
be selected when each source is ready
to play.
When an optional accessory is
connected, the source name for each
device appears. (DPX504U only)
Volume
Turn the [VOL] knob to adjust the sound
volume.
Attenuator
Press the [ATT] button.
Turning the volume down quickly.
USB terminal (DPX504U/ DPX404U
only)
USB device or iPod can be connected.
CA-U1EX or KCA-iP101/iP102 (optional
accessory) is recommended to connect a
USB device or iPod.
Auxiliary input
Portable audio device can be connected
with the stereo mini-plug (3.5 mm ø).
Display selection
Each time you press the [DISP] button,
another display mode will be selected.

Log Function recall
Previously used functions are
automatically logged in memory and
displayed as the list.

Press the [LOG] button.

Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when
the desired Log Function is displayed.
To cancel Log Function recall, press

Logs can be saved or deleted. Refer to
manual.

Bass boost
Each time you press the [B.Boost]
button, the bass tone will be boosted in
two steps (LV1, LV2, OFF).
