Connection
Connect to a 230 V AC, 50 Hz
power outlet. Be sure to insert
the blades all the way into the
power outlet slits.
Fit into the groove until it
clicks.
AM loop antenna
Using pieces of tape, attach on a position with which
the noise during FM reception is minimum.

Always use the provided AC-059300A AC adapter with this product. •
The provided AC adapter is designed for exclusive use with the AS-IP70. •
Do not use the provided AC adapter with other products, as this may •
cause a fi re or electric shock hazard.
The battery pack or batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such

sunshine, fi re or the like.
Clock backup battery box
Open the battery box cover and insert the provided •
“AAA” (R03) size batteries with correct polarity
(directions of “+” and “-“ poles).
The clock setting of this unit is backed up even when
•
the AC adapter is unplugged from the power outlet.
When replacing batteries, be sure to replace both of
•
them simultaneously.
Connect the AM loop antenna to the AM ANTENNA terminals as shown in the illustration. •

Do not plug the power cord of the AC adapter until all connections have completed. Before disconnecting a connected cord or cable, be sure to
turn this unit off (by pressing the OFF button) and unplug the power cord from the power outlet
