Selecting a Frequency
■ VFO Mode
This is the basic mode for changing the operating
frequency. Turn the Tuning control clockwise to
increase the frequency and counterclockwise to
decrease the frequency.
■ MHz Mode
If the desired operating frequency is far away from
the current frequency, it is quicker to use the MHz
Tuning Mode.
To adjust the MHz digit:
1 Press [F].
• The MHz digit blinks.
2 Turn the Tuning control to select the desired MHz
value.
3 After selecting the desired MHz value, press [F]
to exit the mode and return to normal VFO Mode.
4 Continue adjusting the frequency as necessary,
using the Tuning control.
