Exit the voice tag mode
Exit Menu mode.
Function of Model-A, B, C, D, E, F
Setting a Voice Command for
Category
Add a voice tag to the phone number category
(type) for voice calling.
1 Entry the voice tag mode
Model-D:
Press the [ 38] button for at least 1 second.
Model-F:
Push the Control knob towards up or down.
Select the "TYPE MEM"/ "PN Type Edit"/ "Type EDT"
display.
Model-A, B, D, F:
Press the decision button for at least 1 second.
Model-C, E:
Press the decision button.
2 Select the category (type) you wish to set
Operation type Operation
Selects category Push the selection button towards up
or down.
Determine the selection Press the decision button.
3 Select a mode
Model-A, B, C, D-2, F:
Push the selection button towards up or down.
Model-B, C, D-1:
Turn the selection button.
Model-E:
Push the selection button towards right or left.
Display Operation
"T-REG"/"REGIST"/"Type REG" Register a voice tag.
"T-CHK"/"PLAY"/"Type CHK" * Play a voice tag.
"T-DEL"/"DELETE"/"Type DEL" * Delete a voice tag.
"RETURN" Return to step 2.
* Displayed only when a category (type) for which a voice
tag has been registered is selected.
4 Register the category (type) by performing
steps 4 to 6 in Command> (page 22).
Exit the voice tag mode
Exit Menu mode.
If a voice tag has already been registered for a
name, "*" is displayed before the name.
3 Select a mode
Model-A, B, C, D-2, F:
Push the selection button towards up or down.
Model-B, C, D-1:
Turn the selection button.
Model-E:
Push the selection button towards right or left.
Display Operation
"N-REG"/"REGIST"/"Name REG" Register a voice tag.
"N-CHK"/"PLAY"/"Name CHK" * Play a voice tag.
"N-DEL"/"DELETE"/"Name DEL" * Delete a voice tag.
"RETURN"
Return to step 2.
* Displayed only when a name for which a voice tag has
been registered is selected.
Select "N-REG"/"REGIST"/"Name REG"
* Audio sound is not output during voice tag registration.
4 Register a voice tag (first)
Press the decision button.
"Enter Voice 1"/ "ENTER1" is displayed.
When a beep is heard, say a voice tag within 2
seconds.
5 Confirm the voice tag (second)
Press the decision button.
"Enter Voice 2"/ "ENTER2" is displayed.
When a beep is heard, say the same voice tag as
that you said in step 4 within 2 seconds.
"COMPLETE" is displayed.
6 End registration
Press the decision button.
Return to step 2. You can register another voice tag
continuously.
☞ If your voice cannot be recognized, a message is
displayed. Pressing the [ 38] button allows you to retry
voice input. (page 26)
Select "N-CHK"/"PLAY"/"Name CHK"
4 Press the decision button.
Play the registered voice and return to step 2.
Select "N-DEL"/"DELETE"/"Name DEL"
4 Delete a voice tag
Model-B, D, F:
Press the decision button for at least 1 second.
Model-A, C, E:
4-1. Press the control button.
4-2. Push the selection button towards right to
select "YES"/"Y".
4-3. Press the decision button.
