The figures next to the symbols indicate
how many months the frozen food can be
stored for. Use by the "best before" date.
Freezer element
If a freezer element has been supplied
with the refrigerator, put it into the freezer
compartment and allow it to freeze all the
way through. If you are going to freeze
fresh food and there are already some
deepĆfrozen items in the freezer
compartment, place the freezer element
on top of the frozen goods in order to
prevent them from warming up.
If the freezer compartment does not
contain any frozen goods, place the
freezer element on top of the fresh items
to speed up the freezing process.
If there is a power failure, the freezer
element extends the period of time before
the frozen goods start to thaw.

produce
Depending on the type of food and
intended use, frozen produce can be
defrosted:
S At room temperature,
S In a refrigerator,

assisted hotĆair,
S In a microwave
Note
Do NOT refreeze food which is beginning
to defrost or which has already defrosted.
Only food which is subsequently prepared
(cooked or fried) may be refrozen.
No longer store the frozen produce for the
max. storage period.
