14.5 User Menu
The User Menu allows you to add users and permissions for those users.
To access the User Menu, select the Basic button, select Record from the
list on the left side of the screen, and then select User.
•
User Name: Displays the names that you assign to users. To make
changes to a user, double-click on the user’s name.
•
User Type: Displays the Administrator (only one administrator is
allowed) and Normal users (up to 5 normal users).
•
Hardware Access: This will say Unlimited if the user can access
the DVR from any computer, or it will display the MAC address of
the computer that the user has been assigned to.
•
Add User: Opens a new window to add a user.
•
Delete User: Check the box located next to the User Name, then
select the
Delete User button to delete that user.
