Launching wheels for inflatables, Assembly instructions, Carrying the boat
#1487
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This model is designed to attach to the transom hard-
ware that exists on most hard transomed Zodiac inflat-
able boats. Hardware will be required for other boats.
The product is not to be used on boats over 300 lbs.
(136 kg).
1. Inflate tires to NO MORE THAN 14 P.S.I. (14 pounds
per square inch).
CAUTION: Gas station compressors can easily
overinflate and explode tires. Be careful not to
overinflate.
2. Slide inflated tires onto axle. Install nylon washer and
insert locking pin.
3. Hook strut on transom bolt and insert knob assembly
through hole in transom. Tighten into top threaded
insert in strut to secure.
4. Remove struts after launching. Struts can be stored
by securing to the inside of the transom using the
knob assembly tightened into the center threaded
insert in strut.
CARRYING THE BOAT
When setting the wheels to carry the boat, the knob
assemblies go through the transom from the INSIDE,
then through the struts and into the upper Nutserts.
STORING THE WHEELS
For carrying the wheels inboard after launching, the knob
assemblies go through the transom from the OUTSIDE,
then through the struts and into the center Nutserts. The
wheels rest on the hulls inside the boat in a “V.”
CAUTION: This product is not designed to be towed
behind a vehicle. Damage may occur and will void
the warranty.
