MAINTENANCE
The following actions will keep the probe in good working
condition.
 Always keep the pH glass bulb wet by using the plastic
bottle to protect and store the probe. You can also store
in a KCl solution. Never use distilled or de-ionized water
for storage.
 Always rinse pH probe in de-ionized water before using.
 Never touch or rub the glass bulb tip.
 This probe is designed with a fiber junction. To prolong
the life of the probe, it is recommended to clean the
probe monthly by immersing in a cleaning solution for a
minimum of 30 minutes. After cleaning, rinse with tap
water and recalibrate with the meter.
 To further prolong the life of the probe, extend the fiber
junction and remove the dirt portion. The extendable
fiber reference junction is used to eliminate the reading
errors from a clogged junction.
