Operating Instructions for eChecker E85 Test Tube

Thank you for purchasing QFT’s eChecker. This simple instrument will allow you to determine the

Ethanol content of the fuel you are sampling. E85 is blended with accordance to both season and

regions; this can lead to a large variance in its contents. Knowing the content of the fuel you are using

allows you to make more informed decisions when it comes to the tuneup of your car. Consistent fuel

leads to consistent performance.

1. Unscrew the lid of the test tube, hold upright, and fill with water to the bottom line on the tube.

2. Fill the remainder of the tube (to the top line) with the E85 blend you wish to check.

3. Replace tube cap to finger tightness and gently shake the contents of the tube.

4. Allow eChecker to sit a few moments upright as the contents seperate

5. A clear line of separation should be visible within the tube somewhere between the 70-100% range

(this line is ultimately the amount of ethanol content in your fuel sample)
