uninstall and reinstall instructions
Follow these steps to uninstall then reinstall the printer software on your
computer:
1. Follow one of these methods to uninstall the software:
• Select
Start > Programs > Hewlett-Packard > hp cp1160 > uninstaller .
• Select Start > Settings > Control Panel , then double-click Add/Remove
Programs . Select the hp cp1160 software, then select the option to
remove the hp cp1160 software from your PC.
2. Close all virus protection programs or other software running on the
computer.
3. Insert the CD-ROM that came with the printer into your computer’s
CD-ROM drive.
4. Follow the onscreen installation instructions.

Follow these steps to install software if you have downloaded printer software
from the Web:
1. Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
2. Double-click the filename to expand the file.
3. Select Start > Run .
4. Click the Browse button, then locate the Setup.exe file for the printer
software.
5. Click OK .
6. Follow the onscreen installation instructions.
