Connecting the Network Cable
The NC6134 Server Adapter uses SC fiber ports. These ports support multimode fiber with a
maximum cable length dependent on the fiber type, mode, and cable size. See Table C-2 for
supported cables and distances.
To insert the network SC connector into the adapter port, line up the slot on the fiber connector
with the key on the adapter and push gently until the retainers click into place. Figure 2-2
illustrates an SC connector being installed in an SC fiber port.
