indicates whether the user has OPERATOR or USER permission.

To view the current MXCS users:
1.

Log on to the HP NonStop SQL/MX Database Manager.

2.

In the navigation tree pane, click Connectivity.

MXDM displays a list of existing systems.

3.

Under My Systems, select the system for which you want to view permissions.

4.

In the right pane, click MXCS Permissions.

In the right pane, the permissions appear.

Adding an MXCS user

Initially, only the SUPER.SUPER user has the OPERATOR permission.

Only a SUPER.SUPER or an alias of SUPER.SUPER user can add an MXCS user.

To add an MXCS user:
1.

Log on to the HP NonStop SQL/MX Database Manager.

2.

In the navigation tree pane, click Connectivity.

MXDM displays a list of existing systems.

3.

Under My Systems, select the system for which you want to add an MXCS user.
