Viewing data sources
To view data sources:
1.
Log on to the HP NonStop SQL/MX Database Manager.
2. In the navigation tree pane, click Connectivity.
MXDM displays a list of existing systems.
3. Expand the system and click the Data Sources folder.
Figure 30 (page 84) shows the data sources in the navigation tree. The right pane displays
the details corresponding to the data sources.

The Data Sources tab displays the following data source properties:

Data Source Name: — The name of the data source.
•
Maximum: — The upper limit of the servers that can be operational for the service on this
data source.
•
Idle: — The lower limit of the available idle servers that are operational for the service
on this data source. This value represents idle servers that are waiting for user connections.
•
Initial: — The suggested number of servers that each service starts when the data source
is first started.
