Using the right pane

The right pane displays information about the selected objects in the My Favorites pane or in the
navigation tree.

Table 15 (page 36)

describes the options displayed in the right pane when you

select the My Systems folder.

Description

Option

Tests a selected system and displays the results in the Connection Test Result dialog. Test is
enabled when you select one or more systems.

Test

Edits the system definition of a disconnected or an inactive system. Edit... is enabled when you
select one or more disconnected systems.

Edit...

Adds a new system. Add... is always enabled.

Add...

Adds a system whose system definition is similar to the system definition of the selected system.
Add Like... is enabled when you select only one system.

Add Like...

Removes a selected system definition. You must confirm the removal in the Confirm dialog.

Remove

Closes the connection with the system. In the Confirm dialog, you must confirm whether you
want to disconnect the system.

Disconnect

When a table is displayed in the right pane, another set of options appears at the bottom of the
right pane.

Copies the table data to the Windows clipboard. For more information, see

Data to Clipboard

Opens a browser to display the data in a tabular format. For more information, see

Displays the data in a Microsoft Excel application. For more information, see

Copies the data to a file in Comma Separated File (CSV) and HTML formats. For more
