Provides high fault
tolerance.
Users can choose to mirror
data continuously or on
request.
Data recovery is quick and
easy.
Allows hot-plugging of
mirrored drive (with eSATA
or docking station HDD).
Enables easy migration to
non-RAID.
Disadvantages:

storage.
