Your Slate supports wireless Internet access. For mobile Internet access, you can use a wireless
connection.
Creating a wireless connection
Your Slate may be equipped with one or more of the following wireless devices:
● Wireless local area network (WLAN) device
● Bluetooth® device

Help and Support.
Identifying wireless and network icons
Icon Name Description
Network (connected) Indicates that one or more network devices are connected to a
network.
Network
(disconnected) Indicates that network devices are not connected to a network
Network (disabled/
disconnected) Indicates that no wireless connections are available.
Using operating system controls
The Network and Sharing Center allows you to set up a connection or network, connect to a network,
manage wireless networks, and diagnose and repair network problems.
▲ Tap Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
