Problem Possible cause Possible solution
When using SLB, 802.3ad,
and Dual-Channel teams
some ports in my
aggregation (trunk) do not
have any information
displayed.
Some network devices may
only transmit a CDP or LLDP
frame down a single port in a
trunk. In that case, you should
expect that the data from the
port that is receiving the frame
should represent all ports in
that aggregation.
If two ports in an aggregation
happen to contain different
data (like different Device IDs)
that may alert you to a
network misconfiguration.
Map your network configuration using
Discovery Protocol and verify the configuration
is satisfactory.
