Then, follow the on-screen instructions to
finish adding the printer. If a screen for
selecting printer sharing appears, select
“No share”.

Use any application to check that
printing can be performed with this
printer.

If printing does not work

If the printer is turned off, the wireless LAN
connection will be ended. Even if the
printer is turned on, printing will not be
possible until the connection is
re-established.

Turn on the printer, hold down the
(Power) button for at least 3 seconds to
enter wireless LAN mode, and then re-
establish the connection after setting up
the computer running Windows

®

Setting Up the Printer
(With the Default Settings Changed)

• Since a USB cable is required to change

the printer’s default settings, prepare one.
In the process, the printer driver for a USB
connection will be installed on the
computer running Windows

specified on both the printer and the
computer running Windows

If you have the included CD-ROM, insert
it into your computer’s CD-ROM drive,
and then click [Standard Installation] in
the installer screen that appeared. If the
Web version was downloaded,
double-click the downloaded file.
Click [Next].
