The Gain Control
The gain control affects the slope (generally referred to as the sensitivity) of the
system output. The effect of this control is depicted in figure 10.
The Coarse and Fine Linearity Controls
The Coarse and Fine linearity controls affect the linearity of the system output. They
are an offset to the system output ahead of the log amplifier.
