4 Electrical connection
• The max. permissible voltage against ground of the input and signal leads is 50
Veff.
• Power supply leads must be kept separate from signal and input leads.
• For output protection and interference suppression, connected contactors must
be provided with protective circuitry to manufacturer specifications.
4.1 Terminals
All terminals leading to the process are designed as (plug-in type) screw or
screwless spring-clamp terminals.
The terminals are not delivered with the unit and must be ordered separately.

Note: The spring-clamp terminals are shown in the KS 816 figures. These have a
separate "test socket".
With screw terminals, the screw heads are used for test measurements.
