By means of a number of parameters the Modbus communication link can be adjusted to one’s needs or
preferences. When the OPTISONIC V6 meter is delivered these parameters are set to default values as
listed below:

Parity: Even
Modbus Mode: RTU
Modbus End Code: 2
Addressing Mode: Modicon compatible
Representation Mode: Normal

Modbus Start Code: “:” (colon character)
Modbus End Code1: ASCII 13 (carriage return, CR)
