4. Power supply
The scale is powered by a mains unit. The connection socket for the mains unit is in the
base of the scale.
Please use only the mains unit supplied or mains units from the seca range of ac-
cessories. Before plugging the unit into the socket, check whether the mains volt-
age marked on the mains unit matches local mains voltage.
– Turn over the scale so that the base-
plate faces upwards.
– Connect the latching plug of the mains
unit to the connection socket in the
base of the scale.
– Then turn the scale the right way up.
– Connect the mains unit to a mains
socket.
5. Set up and level scale
– Place scale on a firm surface.
– Undo the locknuts over the four screw
feet.
– Level the scale by turning the screw
feet. The bubble in the spirit level must
be in the exact centre of the circle.
– Then tighten up the locknuts again
Important!
Every time it is moved, the base of the scale must be checked to see if it is level
and corrected if necessary.
