. Change Mounting Bolts
1. Remove 3 bolts (1) from reel as shown. (2). Remove and replace
one bolt at a time to insure rigidity of reel during disassembly.
2. Replace 5/16 self tapping bolts with 1/4-20 x 3/4" bolts and nuts.
1. Unscrew swivel (1) from reel.
2. Remove old thread sealant from threads on swivel.
3. Set aside swivel for later reassembly.

Remove Your Swivel
For 6", 12", 18", And 22" Models
1. Remove one post from each roller.
2. Mount both posts with rollers attached onto guide arm. Mount lone
posts to other guide arm.
Your Kit should include the following:
(1) Left Guide Arm (Item #10)
(1) Right Guide Arm (Item #9)
(2) Long Rollers (Item #8)
(2) Short Rollers (Item #5)
(2) Short Shafts (Item #4)
(2) Long Shafts (Item #6)
(4) Posts (Item #1)
(4) 5/16-18 x 1/2" bolts (for step #1), (Item #3)
(6) 1/4-20 x 3/4" bolts (for step #3)
(6) 5/16-12 x 3/4" Screws (for step #3)
*For Models other than 28" reels, the long rollers and posts
will be pre-assembled at the factory.

Sub-Assemble Your Roller Bracket
For 28" Models
1. Assemble bottom post (1) to bottom slot (2) in guide arm using
bolts (3).
2. Drop shaft (4) into post and place roller (5) over shaft.
3. Assemble top post to top slot, making sure that top of shaft fits into
hole in top post.
4. Repeat steps #1 through #3 for other side.
5. Fix shafts (6) to posts on one side only using bolts (7) through
posts.
6. Slide rollers (8) over shafts.
*Before any disassembly, see warnings.
WARNING: Even low pressure is very dangerous and may cause
personal injury or death. Relieve line pressure to reel before any
disassembly. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug reel before any
alteration to reel is made.
