Receive BROADCAST(CHANGE) redundant primitive (TestD.9)
SAS target ports shall ignore BROADCAST (CHANGE). This primitive is only used by Initiators and
Expanders.
Test Procedure:
1. The Testing Station is instructed to start and complete a phy Reset sequence followed by an
Identify sequence with the DUT. Since the DUT is a target, the Testing Station is instructed to
transmit an Identify Address frame indicating that it is a SAS Initiator.
2. The Testing Station is instructed to transmit BROADCAST (CHANGE) Primitive to DUT.
Observable Results: Verify that the DUT discards the primitive with no additional action.
