Installing a Replacement Battery
1. With the back of the pump facing you (serial number
at bott om left ), use a small fl at-head screwdriver
(tweaker) to pry up and remove two strip panels
from the left and right ends of the back of the case.
Removing the pressure-fi t panels will reveal four
safety screws.
2. Use a Phillips head or fl at-head screwdriver to
loosen the four safety screws.
3. Lift off the back of the pump case.
4. Using a Phillips head
screwdriver, remove the
two screws and washers
from the batt ery bracket.
Set them aside.
Do not lose washer
from beneath each
screw.
5. Slide the bracket forward
and lift it out of the
case.
6. Carefully lift the
batt ery pack out of the
case and detach it from
the batt ery connector.
7. Att ach the new batt ery to the connector.
8. Replace the batt ery pack in the pump case.
9. Slide the batt ery bracket in place and align the two screw holes. Reinstall the
two screws with washers.
10. Replace the back of the pump case (serial number label should be in the lower
left corner) and tighten the four safety screws.
11. Replace the two strip panels and press them down until completely installed.
