Damage may also be caused if you use a detector with a contaminated absorber surface.
Slight discoloration of the coating may occur, but this does not affect the calibration.
In the event of major damage to the coating, the FLASH Series sensors can be recoated. Contact
your local Gentec-EO representative for information on repair and recalibration. See p. II
