C2.
Silver 3D coat:
1. Dilute
: Empty the full can of paint (700 g) into a mixing container. Dilute the paint with
230 g of
water
.
2. Mixing
: Mix the paint and water with a wooden or plastic stick (free from dust particles) for about 15-
20 minutes. Note: the Silver 3D paint requires more stirring than the 2D paint.
3. Observe:
Black lines will appear in this mixture when stirring. The following picture shows the
mixture after the lines have blended with the water, which will become one solid color. At
this point, the paint is ready to be applied to the viewing area.
D. Apply the 2D paint:
Note: ScreenPaint5DS is one part CineWhite2D Base coat
(for base layer)
and one part Silver 3D coat
(for face
layer).
ScreenPaint2DW is purely a double mixture of CineWhite2D Base coat,
which is used for base layer and
face layer (each can of paint for one layer).
To ensure a solid, even finish of this screen, we recommend that 4 coats of paint be applied to the viewing
surface.
1. Pre-setting of spray gun:
a. Fill the spray gun reservoir with the paint mixture.
b. Adjust the spray gun’s nozzle so that it shoots out an ellipse shape.
c. For best result, be sure to spray from a proper distance so that the spray gun shoots an ellipse shape of
about 30cm in diameter to the wall.
d. Below is a diagram of the different angles in which the spray gun will apply the paint to the wall. By
tilting the spray gun at a 45 degree angle to both the left & right, you will be able to apply even coats
of paint in all four angles to create a smooth, one tone viewing surface. These steps are provided on
the next page.
