Install EE328 without POE source device.
Refer to the diagram below when installing. Use best industry practices and follow all local building codes.
When installing without a POE source device, insert the EE328 at a distance of 100 meters or less from the network
switch. The cable leaving the EE328 and going to the next device in the chain must be 100 meters or less to insure
proper operation. The first EE328 unit in the chain must be powered with an optional 48VDC power supply. Also note
that more then one 48VDC power supply may be used in a long chain of units. The advantage to an additional supply at
the end of the chain is to increase the POE voltage/wattage available for POE equipment connected to your cable.
