CHAPTER 4
USE
By means of this Manual, the operator must learn the
meaning of these symbols.
Do not cover these plates for any reason, in case of
damage replace them immediately.
4.1
BATTERIES CONTROL /
INSTALLATION ON A NEW WASH-
AND-DRY MACHINE
Alternatively, the wash-and-dry m
achine
requires:
–
2 12V, 110 Ah (WET) batteries
–
2 12V, 110 Ah (GEL) batteries
–
2 12V, 110 Ah (AGM) batteries
The machine can be supplied as follow:
a)
WET or GEL or AGM batteries supplied and
already installed on the machine and ready to be
used
b)
Without batteries
According to these conditions, operate as described
below.
a)
WET or GEL or AGM batteries supplied and
already installed on the machine and ready to be
used

The machine is ready to be used.
b)
Without batteries

Buy appropriate batteries (See paragraph
"Technical Characteristics" Apply to battery
qualified retailers to choose and install the
battery.

Install and set the machine batteries Service
Manual according to the type of battery, as
described in the following paragraph.

On some points of the machine there are
some adhesives indicating:

ATTENTION
The electric components of this machine can
be seriously damaged if batteries are either
installed or connected improperly. Batteries
can be installed by qualified personnel only.
Set the machine electronic board and the
integrated battery charger according to the
type of batteries used (WET, GEL, AGM
batteries).
Check the batteries for damage before
installation.
Disconnect the battery connector or the
battery charger plug.
Move the batteries with great care.
Install the battery terminal protection caps
supplied with the machine.
