• Under normal operation, the UTILITY INPUT flows through the XBDM to the UPS and then out to
the CONNECTED LOADS.

As shown in fig. 2 block diagram:
• Under maintenance operation, the UTILITY INPUT flows through the XBDM to the CONNECTED
LOADS – the UPS is not in the circuit.
