4. Turn the music table right side up and install the cymbal as shown in illustration #3 below. First install the
machine screw through the hole in the table top. Slip the wooden spacer over the threads and add a lock nut. The
lock nut will only start from the flat side and it will need to be screwed on using pliers. Add the felt spacer and the
cymbal. Now thread on the second lock nut. Using the pliers, tighten the lock nut until it is about 1/16" above the
cymbal. Be careful not to overtighten this nut since the cymbal will not make the correct sound it it is too tight.
5. Add the mallets to the mallet holders (smaller holes in the top of the table in the corners) and maraccas to the
maracca holders (larger holes) and you are now finished.
