To determine the calibration number for a specific gravity that does not
appear in Chart A simply multiply the specific gravity of the resin by 4.3219
for a VLS-4600 pump and by 11.148 for a HVLS-1000 pump.
Example: 4.3219 x 1.08 = 4.6677
The following is a step-by-step procedure to change any of the operating
parameters of the meter and an explanation of what the various displays
mean.
NOTE: The resin calibration number is based on one count per stroke.
With the sensor assembly used there will be more counts per stroke.
To adjust the calibration number divide by the number of counts.
Example if there are two counts per stroke divide the divide the
calibration by two. You can also divide the 4.3219 by the number of
counts for the VLS-4600 and divide 11.148 by the number of counts for
the VLS-1000.
