Glass Total Meter programming:
All programming is accomplished from the front panel of the Glass Total
Meter. The programming sequence for the Glass Total Meter is identical to
the procedure outlined for the Resin Total Meter except the calibration
number entered.
The Glass Total Meter has been programmed at the factory for a 2400 Tex
glass. The VRC-2000-XXX, Pro Chopper and 4 Strand Roving Cutters
(70020-X) has entered a calibration number of 0.0023 for 2 strands. The 6
Strand Roving Cutter (70010-1) has entered a calibration number of 0.0066
for 4 strands. The following charts give the calibration number for the
more common yields of glass under the number of strands being pulled.
Following the charts is an explanation of how to arrive at a calibration
number for any other Tex of glass.
