Air Cylinder Disassembly
1.
Remove the E-ring (APP-9102) from the piston rod (VPH-2502 or MPH-2503).
Lift the sleeve (APP-9109) up and remove the two connectors (APP-9096).

Remove the three hex nuts (F-HN-05F) from the tie rods (MPH-2524 or VPH-
4258). Pull the upper end cap (MPH-2508) off the cylinder (VPH-2501 or MPH-
2502).
3.
Slide the piston rod (MPH-2503 or VPH-2502) up from the lower end cap (MPH-
2507).
4.
Replace all O-rings and coat with lithium grease. Coat the inside of the cylinder,
piston rod and piston rod bushing with lithium grease.
