Attaching the Printer to the Bracket
(Optional)
1. On the bracket, locate the (3) printer mounting
holes (Figure 11). The 3 printer mounting holes
are smaller in diameter than the standard
mounting holes used to attach the bracket to a
horizontal or vertical surface.
2. Place the printer on the bracket (Figure 12) and
open the printer's lid.
3. If a paper roll is in the paper cavity, remov the
paper roll.
4. On the printer's case, in the paper cavity, there
are two mounting recesses (Figure 13). Starting
with the mounting recess on the right, use a
screwdriver to carefully thread the #4 x ½” sheet
metal screws through the #4 washers and the
printer's case. The sheet metal screws will self-
start and go through the printer's case into the
bracket
.
5. Tighten securely.
Warranty
The Company warrants that Datamax-O’Neil products are free from defects in
manufacturing materials and workmanship for one (1) year from date of original
purchase to Buyer/Distributor (OEMs 90 days from the date of purchase). Batteries,
cables, power supplies, and other accessories will be warranted for ninety (90) days.
Datamax-O’Neil makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied
warranties of merchantability and fitness of purpose. If you try to repair, disassemble,
or change the product in any way, or use parts not provided by Datamax-O’Neil
without prior, written authorization, all warranties are void. For complete warranty and
service information, see the Warranty Card included in your printer's original
packaging.
No Liability for Negligent Use
In no event shall Datamax-O’Neil be held liable for any damages whatsoever
(including, without limitations, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss
of information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of negligence in use and care of the
product.

6. Loop the AC adapter's cable through the cable
clips (Figure 7).
7. Route the AC adapter's connector through the
routing hole on the top of the settlement room
bracket so that the ferrite bead exits the hole
(Figure 8).
8. Place the printer onto the settlement room
bracket (Figure 9).
9. Plug the Grounded AC adapter plug into a
outlet.
10.Plug the AC adapter's connector into the
printer's power port (Figure 10).
11.Proceed to Attaching the Printer to the Bracket
(if applicable).

Attaching the Power Supply
(Optional)
Use the following photos as a guide when
connecting the power supply:
1. Attach the double-sided foam tape to the
bracket and peel off the adhesive cover from
the adhesive tape (Figure 3).
2. Firmly place the AC adapter onto the adhesive
so that the printing on the AC adapter faces
down and the AC adapter's connector is
closest to the routing hole on the top left of the
bracket (Figures 4 and 8).
3. Remove the twist ties from the AC adapter's
cable and the Grounded AC power cord's
cable.
4. Plug the Grounded AC power cord's connector
into the AC adapter's socket (located on the AC
adapter). Verify the three prongs of the
Grounded AC adapter's power cord match the
AC adapter's socket (Figure 5).
5. Loop the Grounded AC power cord's cable
through the cable clips twice (Figure 6).
