*A ir purging w ith vacuum pum p
1.C heck that pi pel i nes connecti on have been properl y
connected,rem ove the charging port cap,and connect
the m anifold gauge and the vacuum pum p to the
charging valve by service hoses as show n Fig.8.
2.O pen the valve of the low pressure side of m anifold
gauge,then,run the vacuum pum p.Vacuum the indoor
unit and the connecting pipes until the pressure in
them low ers to below 1.5m m H G (The operation tim e
for vacuum ing is about 10 m inutes).W hen the desired
vacuum i s reached,cl ose the val ve of the l ow pressure
of the m anifold and stop the vacuum pum p.
3.D isconnect the service hoses and fit the cap to
the charging valve.
4.R em ove the blank caps,and fully open the spindles
of the 2-w ay and 3-w ays valves w ith a service valve
w rench.
5.Tighten the blank caps of the 2-w ay and 3-w ays
valves,applying the above torque Table 1.

After the pipieline connection is done,use a leakage inspection device or soap suds to carefully check
if there is any leakage at the joints.This is an im porant step to ensure the quality of installation.O nce
a leakage is detected,proper treatm ent should be taken im m ediately.
