6 Enclosure
Installation
6.1
Pedestal Mount Kit with Concrete Mounting Frame
This kit is comprised of two kits: 037-146-20 (Brown Kit) and 037-182-20. See drawings 037-146-04 and 037-182-
04 at the rear of this manual. 
1. Unwrap the enclosure and inspect the contents. If items are missing or damaged, contact Argus Technologies
and the shipper immediately.
2. Unbolt the enclosure from the shipping pallet. 
3. With no less than 2 installation personnel, lift the enclosure off the shipping pallet, and place over the 
mounting studs on the pad.
4. Secure the enclosure to the pad using appropriate mounting hardware.
6.2
Pole Mount Kit
See drawing 037-176-04 (037-176-20 Brown Kit) at the rear of this manual, and specific customer-supplied 
hardware to be used for mounting in Section 6.2.1. 
The pole mount assembly bracket kit includes (where applicable):
• Enclosure mounting hardware
• Pole mount bracket parts (includes safety ring).
 
NOTE: Ensure that there is sufficient clearance beneath the enclosure mounting for cable routing. 
6.2.1
Pole Mount Installation with Customer-Provided Parts
Use a (customer-provided) suspension bolt as shown below. Size: 5/8” x A, where A is the appropriate length for 
the stub pole chosen. 
Also required (in two places) is a curved washer as 
shown below: 
Size: 4” x 4” x 1-1/8”
Install pole mount bracket (item 1) onto pole with 
suspension bolts, washers and nuts per Figure 6. 
The pole mount bracket will be offset from the rear 
of enclosure by 100mm (4”). 
Mounting (suspension) bolts are to be cut off with 
one thread showing past the nut and treated with a 
suitable zinc-oxide paint (SKU: 883255) to prevent 
corrosion. Both items are required for worker safety 
around the pole.
