A red control LED is found under the test button, which flashes once per minute.
This indicates that the battery is connected correctly.
Maintenance
If the detector beeps five times in series, then an error has occurred or the
battery is empty. Replace the battery, then check whether the activity LED
functions normally.
If the detector beeps five times in series after a new battery is inserted, then the
device is defective. Return the device to your supplier.
Cleaning
Remove dust from the detector with a dry or damp cloth (use soapy water only).
Use a vacuum cleaner to carefully clean the air vents. Do not use chemicals or
abrasive materials!
