changes in pigmentation

In some rare cases, there lies the risk of temporary hyperpigmentation

(increased pigment or brown discolouration) or hypopigmentation

(whitening) in the skin surrounding the hair. the risk of changes in skin

pigmentation is higher in persons who have a dark skin tone. Generally,

discolouration or changes in the skin pigment are temporary, and permanent

hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation is rare.
Excessive swelling and redness

in some rare cases, the skin may become very red and swollen. this is more

common in sensitive parts of the body. the redness and swelling should

lessen in the following 2 to 7 days and ice must be applied often. the area

can be cleaned gently, however, avoid exposure to sun.
infection

skin infection is very rare, however, it may still occur following a burn or

wound caused by the appliance.
Bruising

very rarely, blue-purple bruising may be caused after using the appliance and

may last fro 5 to 10 days. as the bruise fades, rust-brown skin discolouration

may occur (hyperpigmentation), which may be permanent.

please consult your doctor or dermatologist in the case of side effects or

complications.
