ISM MTP UT 4DA Output Board Installation Notes, cont’d
9.
Connect a control device to RS-232 insert 1/2 (for
outputs 1 and 2), or insert 3/4 (for outputs 3 and
4). This allows bidirectional, pass-through control
signals to and from the control device and the
MTP devices on ports 1 and 3, and unidirectional
pass-through signals from the control device on
ports 2 and 4. Ports 1 and 2 always receive the
same RS-232 command signal, but only port 1
allows for bidirectional communications. The
same is true for ports 3 and 4, where port 3 allows
for bidirectional communications (see right).
See below for board specific SIS
™
commands.
ISM MTP UT 4DA configuration menu
Using the front panel menu buttons (Menu and Next), the
ISM MTP UT 4DA board configuration menu can be accessed.
From the Output Configuration screen, press Next until reaching
the #x ISM MTP menu (see the image at right). Using the front
panel adjustment knobs ({ [), change the settings as desired.
Power up input and output devices and create the desired ties.
Board specific SIS commands table
Alternatively, the ISM MTP UT 4DA board can be configured with specific SIS commands.
