DPM to HDMIF Active Adapter, 6 inch Pigtail
DisplayPort Male to HDMIF Active Adapter
The Extron ® DisplayPort (DP) Male to HDMI Female Active Adapter is fully
DisplayPort 1.1 compliant. It will support resolution up to 1900 x 1200 at 60 Hz. It is
compliant with Standard HDMI speed and it will read EDID from a sink device via HDMI DDC
or DisplayPort AUX Channel up to 2.5 Gbps per channel. It is a six-inch long pigtail with a
male DP connector on one end and a female HDMI connector on the other end.
The Extron
DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female Active Adapter offers interconnectability
between DisplayPort sources and all single link HDMI devices.
In addition, it features:
• Gold-plating on all contact surfaces for high performance and reliability
• A latching mechanism on the DisplayPort plug to secure connectivity

NOTE: In order for this adapter to operate in a system, the DisplayPort source (laptop
or desktop PC) must be a dual mode DisplayPort device. Dual mode DisplayPort
devices are marked with the
logo.
This is a powered adapter and must be used directly at the DisplayPort source. It is not
intended to be used at a DisplayPort video display. Do not use additional cables or
adapters between the source output and the male end of the DisplayPort adapter.
The pigtail adapter is unidirectional and it is not intended to convert HDMI sources to output
DisplayPort signal.
NOTE: In order for this adapter to operate in a system, the DisplayPort source (laptop
or desktop PC) must be a dual mode DisplayPort device. Dual mode DisplayPort
