EWB Series External Wall Boxes • Installation Guide (Continued)
Attaching the EWB to an Existing In-wall Junction Box
This procedure is to be used if a standard electrical junction box
is already installed in the wall.
If a junction box is not already installed, follow the instructions
in “
Installing the EWB Onto a Wall.
“
NOTE:
The size of the in‑wall junction box does not
have to match the size of the EWB as long as
the junction box is not larger than the EWB.
Mount the EWB to an existing junction box as follows:
1.
Align the EWB with the opening of the junction box. Center
the EWB in front of the junction box if possible.
2.
Attach the EWB to the junction box using #6‑32 pan head
screws (not included) (see figure 1).
