Given the presence of condensers in the inlet filter, current to mass may occur. Choose a suitable
safety device according to local regulations.
Residual current circuit breaker (RCD/RCCB)
When a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) is used, make sure it trips even if a short circuit occurs
in the DC part of the earth connection of AQUONTROLLER!
Use RCD's that are sensitive to pulse currents. Install the residue current circuit breaker according to
local bylaws!
Note: It 's recommended using a differential protection device AC 0.03 A slow. In some
applications, and exclusive protection of the electric submersible, you must install a protection AC
0.15 to 0.30 A.

The AQUONTROLLER inverter must be suitably designed in order to avoid overpressure on the inverter
caused by water hammer. The shock absorbers must be correctly serviced in order to assure protection
against overpressure.
ATTENTION! The inverter is an electric device. If the mechanical structure of the AQUONTROLLER is
damaged by pressure shocks, any water infiltrations could cause dangerous electrical discharges between
the electric components and the flowing water.
The supplier declines all liability for damage caused by the incorrect system installation and maintenance.

4.4.1 Impedance motor cables longer than 3 meters
4.4.1 Impedance motor cables longer than 3 meters
With motor cable length of more than 3 meters the installation of impedance coil is required between
AQUONTROLLER and motor. In any case, the motor cable Lmax shall not exceed 100 meters. Install the
impedance coil as close as possible to AQUONTROLLER and that air can circulate for cooling.
MMA version, impedance coil can be directly installed on the drive.
MMW version, separate installation.
The installation of the impedance coil and the size of the motor cable is by the installer.
The following sections recommended based on the length of the motor cable.
