OPERATIOn In nIgHTTImE COnDITIOnS
CAUTIOn:
Avoid exposing the sight to bright light sources. Bright light emitted by fires, automobile head-
lights, lanterns, projectors, etc. will damage your Nemesis.
1) Visually estimate the illuminance level in the viewing area. Operation of the device with the objec-
tive lens cap removed is safe only when the illuminance level is less than 1 lux (at an illuminance
level of 1 lux, you will barely be able to read a newspaper, even after your eyes have adapted to the
dim light or darkness).
2) Remove the front lens cap.
3) Activate the unit by pushing the operating button. After a momentary delay, a green light indicat-
ing correct IIT operation will appear.
4) Observe the scene and focus your Nemesis.
REmOTE COnTROL UnIT
Attach the cable of the Remote Control Unit to the connector on
the bottom of the Nemesis. Using Velcro tape, you will be able to
affix the Remote Control Unit to any surface of your weapon. Be sure
to do this before adjusting your handgrip for ideal comfort while
shooting.
The sight can now be turned on by pressing the button on the Re-
mote Control Unit. While looking through the eyepiece, continue
pushing the button. Your Nemesis will turn off immediately after
you release the button.
EXTEnDIBILITy OF USE
For extended applications of your Nemesis, there are three detach-
able Picatinny rails secured on its body. They are ideal for attaching
additional lighting sources, lasers, and other tools that are critical to
your mission. From the figure to the right, you can see that the rails
are fixed with two screws.
RETICLE
The Armasight Nemesis reticle provides a clear aiming point, even
when difficult-to-see games or objects blend into the background.
Posts and crosshairs appear in the center section of the field of view,
but occupy a minimal portion of the image, making precise shots on
even the smallest targets easy and accurate.
The size of the illuminated red reticle corresponds as follows: 1 yard
at 100 yard’s distance.
wInDAgE AnD ELEVATIOn ADjUSTmEnT
The vertical and horizontal adjustments for the Armasight Nemesis
can be regulated by rotating the elevation and windage adjust-
ment turrets. Before performing this adjustment, you will need to
remove the dust caps. Each click represents 1/2 inch at a 100 yard
distance. Once the turret comes to a complete stop, avoid forcing it
to go any further, as damage to the mechanism may occur.
