2.7.1

Fast Boot [Enabled]

Enable or disable boot with initialization of a minimal set of devices to launch active boot

option. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

The following three items appear only when you set Fast Boot to [Enabled].

USB Support [Partial Initialization]

[Disabled]

All USB devices will not be available until OS boot up for the fastest

possible POST time.

[Full Initialization]

All USB devices will be available during POST. This process will

extend POST time.

[Partial Initialization]

For a faster POST time, only the USB ports with keyboard and

mouse connections will be detected.

PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse Support [Auto]

[Auto]

For a faster POST time, PS/2 devices are available when the

system boots up or rebooted as long as the PS/2 devices have not

been reconnected or changed.

[Full Initialization]

For full system control, PS/2 devices are available during POST.

This setting will extend POST time.

[Disabled]

For a shorter POST time, all PS/2 devices are available only after

the PC enters the OS.

Network Stack Driver Support [Disabled]

[Disabled]

If Disabled, the Network Stack Driver will be skipped. To enable this

feature, enable the Network Stack item in the Advanced menu.

[Enabled]

Allows the BIOS to boot from the Network Stack Driver.

Next boot after AC Power Loss [Normal Boot]

[Normal Boot]

Returns to normal boot on the next boot after an AC power loss.

[Fast Boot]

Accelerates the boot speed on the next boot after an AC power loss.

2.7.2

Full Screen Logo [Enabled]

[Enabled]

Enables the full screen logo display feature.

[Disabled]

Disables the full screen logo display feature.

Set this item to [Enabled] to use the ASUS MyLogo 2™ feature.

Post Report [5 sec]

This item appears only when the Full Screen Logo item is set to [Disabled] and allows you to

set the waiting time for the system to display the post report. Configuration options: [1 sec] [2

sec] [3 sec] [4 sec] [5 sec] [6 sec] [7 sec] [8 sec] [9 sec] [10 sec] [Until Press ESC]
