2.5.8 AI Slot Detector
This motherboard comes with on-board LEDs that light up when the PCIE/PCI
devices are not correctly installed. When the power cord is plugged in and the
LED lights up, reinstall the device correctly. Refer to the figure on the right for
the location of the LEDs.

Primary PCI Express x16 slots (blue)
The primary PCI Express x16 slots support PCI Express 2.0 x16 graphic cards that
comply with the PCI Express specifications.
Universal PCI Express slots (black, max. x4 mode)
This motherboard also supports two Universal PCI Express slots with a maximum
speed of 2 GB/s. The operating frequency of these slots changes, depending on
the type of PCI Express card you install. Refer to the table below for details.
If you install two VGA cards, we recommend that you plug the rear chassis
fan cable to the motherboard connector labeled CHA_FAN1 for better thermal
environment. See page 2-29 for the connector location.
Some PCI Express devices cannot operate on x4/x1 mode.
