Enables or disables the S.M.A.R.T. (Self Monitoring and Reporting Technology)
capability of your hard drive. This feature allows your system to report read/write
errors of the hard drive and t issue warnings when a third party hardware monitor
utility is installed. Configuration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
32Bit Data Transfer [Disabled]
Enables or disables 32-bit data transfer.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for the IDE
devices installed in the system. Select an item then press if you wish to
configure the item.

Onboard IDE Operate Mode [Enhanced Mode]
Disables or allows selection of the IDE operation mode depending on the operating
system (OS) that you installed. Set to Enhanced Mode if you are using native OS,
such as Windows ® XP/Vista.

when legacy OS (i.e.
