Figure 13: Install Idler Pulleys
Apply anti-seize to the Following:
(2) 3/8-16 x 1-3/4” 12pt. cap screws
(1) 3/8-16 x 2” 12pt. cap screw
Figure 14: Install Belt & Tensioner Pulley
Apply anti-seize to the 3/8-16 x 3/4” 12pt. cap
screw.
Route serpentine belt as shown below, minus
tensioner.
[A] Place a 5/8” box end wrench on tensioner.
Align belt onto pulley and pull up until tensioner
pulley slips onto tensioner shaft.
[B] Slowly return wrench to starting position to
apply tension to belt.
[C] Install the 3/8-16 x 3/4” 12pt. bolt with aluminum washer and tighten firmly. (46 ft/lbs)

WITHOUT POWER STEERING WITH POWER STEERING
[A] Install the passenger side pulley
by threading a 1-3/4" 12pt. cap
screw through the pulley cover, pul-
ley and boss into the bridge bracket
as shown, tighten firmly (46 ft/lbs).
[B] Install the driver side pulley by
threading a 1-3/4" 12pt. cap screw
through the pulley cover, pulley
and boss into the bridge bracket as
shown, tighten firmly (46 ft/lbs).
[C] Install the lower driver side pulley
by threading the 2" 12pt. cap screw
through the pulley cover, pulley
and boss into the bridge bracket as
shown, tighten firmly (46 ft/lbs).
