___1-Adhesive Promoter Tube
1. Thoroughly clean the surface of the factory brake light lens with alcohol to remove
any and all dirt and wax. Test the surface by applying a strip of masking tape to see if the
surface has been cleaned enough to achieve a tack. If the masking tape sticks then
swipe the lens with the adhesive promoter provided. WARNING some factory lenses
have been found to react to the adhesive promoter and may leave an ashy finish. In
order to avoid this try to apply the adhesive promoter only to the thin area to be
mounted with the bezel and not to the main body of the lens. Or if you can be very
certain that you have removed the entire surface contaminates you can then mount the
