simply peel the release liner from the back side of the hood panel and then carefully set it into place pressing
firmly along all taped areas to set the bond. With the hood panel firmly set into position install all mounting
screws through the hole in the hood into all piloted areas. NOTE: You have been supplied with two longer
screws for the lower center section holes. Be very careful not to accidently install these longer screws in any
other spot as this will cause damage to the outer skin.
9- With all screws installed remove the protective liner and the release paper from all of the 1”decorative chrome
screw covers provided and press them over the screw heads. Then reinstall the hood to the truck. Again this is a
three man procedure two to hold the hood and one to align the bolt holes and install the bolts to their exact
marked position.
10- If you have installed the lighted version of the hood panel then all that is left to do once the hood has been
reinstall is to rough the electrical supply line towards the battery and install the fuse and switch provided. Rough
the wire from the rear corner of the hood under the fender overhang towards the battery. Attach the fuse lead
that contains a 5amp fuse and a large eyelet ring directly to the battery terminal. Then attach this lead directly
to the red wire of the decorative chrome switch provided. Then connect the white wire from the switch to the
positive lead directly going to the lights. Then connect the negative lead from the light directly to the fenders
sidewall. There will be an available bolt with other ground wires you can attach it to using the #8 eyelet crimp
ring provided. NOTE: Your chrome switch will contain a black ground wire. This black wire is to illuminate the
LED indicators on the switch only. If you do not wish to have these indicators on all the time then just don’t
connect this wire to ground. Your chrome switch will peel and stick the fender sidewall just in front of the hood
strut (#5).
